Empowering Teachers for the Future
I studied at SRCC and IIM Ahmedabad, then spent about six years at Star and Disney+ Hotstar working across Consumer Insights, Strategy, Growth & Program Management. Through all of it, Maths stayed the subject I kept coming back to. It’s the one I enjoy explaining the most, and the one I’ve seen students struggle with the most as well.
The struggle is rarely about ability. Students get taught what to do long before anyone shows them why it works. Formulas get memorised, steps get repeated, and the understanding never quite arrives.
So I started building Square One.
What Square One is
Square One is a set of interactive tools for CBSE maths, from triangles and probability to limits, trigonometry, differentiation and 3D geometry. Every tool is built so you can see the idea move. Drag a point, change a value, and watch the maths respond.
What Square One isn’t
There’s no AI tutor here and no shortcut that does the thinking for you. Square One is built for the classroom. Teachers use it to demonstrate, and students use it to explore. A good teacher is still the best thing in a maths class, and these tools are meant to give the teacher & students more to work with.
Why “Square One”?
Square One means starting over from the very beginning. I believe real understanding comes from going back to the basics and building up, not jumping straight to the formula. Hence, I named the platform Square One.
If you’re a teacher, a school, or a student who wants maths to finally make sense, we would love to hear from you.
