Square One (“we”, “us”) operates the website squareonesquare.com, which provides interactive mathematics learning tools. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name and email address, provided when you sign up with email or sign in with Google.
- Payment records: when you purchase access, we store a record of the transaction (order and payment identifiers, amount, status). We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — those are handled directly by our payment processor, Razorpay.
- Technical data: basic request information (such as IP address) used to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
- To provide access to the tools you are entitled to and record your purchases.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
How your information is stored
Account and payment records are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database. We keep a signed session token in an HttpOnly cookie so you stay logged in; it is not accessible to page scripts.
Third-party services
- Google — for “Sign in with Google” authentication. We receive your name and email from Google when you choose to sign in this way. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Razorpay — for processing payments. Card/UPI/bank details are entered on Razorpay’s secure checkout and are never transmitted to or stored by us. See Razorpay’s Privacy Policy.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below. Deleting your account removes your personal information from our active systems.
Children’s privacy
Square One is an educational service intended to be used by students, in many cases with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or teacher. We collect only the limited information described above and do not knowingly collect more than is needed to provide the service.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
